Open-World Survival
A living island built around real travel, risk, weather, and discovery.
A Ryze Studios Game
Civilization ended here. Survival didn’t.
A persistent open-world survival game built around exploration, scavenging, base building, vehicles, meaningful NPCs, and a mystery buried beneath an island that refused to die.
Core Experience
Last Meridian is designed to stay interesting after the first shelter, first rifle, and first repaired truck.

A living island built around real travel, risk, weather, and discovery.

PvE-first by default with configurable dedicated-server rules.

Turn a temporary shelter into a real home with storage, power, and defenses.

Recover, repair, fuel, and maintain the machines that make long runs possible.

Meet survivors, complete personal stories, unlock jobs, and build reputation.

Piece together Operation Meridian and the truth behind the collapse.
Meridian Island
Explore the locked world concept directly. Select locations, filter region types, zoom, and drag the map to inspect the island.
Operation Meridian
When the outbreak accelerated, authorities initiated Operation Meridian: an island-wide containment and evacuation protocol centered around Fort Meridian. Ports were seized. Harborview Airport locked down. Evacuation routes collapsed.
The deeper story follows Morrow Therapeutics, MRV-13, the Ironport disaster, and the decisions that turned a medical emergency into a permanent quarantine.
The player is never forced down a linear story path.
Documents, NPCs, radio traffic, facilities, and environmental clues build the mystery.
The endgame is about truth, research, power, and what should survive.
Development
Last Meridian is currently in planning and pre-production at Ryze Studios. The goal is a playable vertical slice before full island production.
Game identity, core pillars, co-op direction.
Island layout, regions, major locations.
Story, server model, systems, vertical-slice planning.
Movement, combat, interaction, inventory, infected AI.
A focused region proving the game is fun and scalable.
